Reviewer Comments: This book is not a traditional romance but a naughty sometimes bawdy (particularly in the poetry) read. There are thirty-nine erotic short stories, poetry and rhymes which encompass different encounters. There are also a couple of sections that give sexual facts and information that some might find fascinating. These encounters include married couples looking to spice up their sex life, singles on the sexual hunt and those seeking special services. There are even two stories regarding the maturity initiation from the wife and the husband’s perspective.
The stories might be appropriate if the reader only wants to read a few pages at a time when you might be looking for a short, sharp erotic read. The stories do not contain the type of stories where the reader is likely to find chemistry between the characters but there are enough couples trying to spice up their sex lives and only provides a snapshot of their lives, chemistry established. There is one story of a couple whose children have finally left home and how they convert the room to their sexual playroom. I liked this older people having sex and fantasies. The stories do reflect many aspects of life at this point in time. There is not necessarily a long entailed plot to go with them but only a few sentences to reflect time and place.
The stories and poems are not overly graphic, although might be for the uninitiated, as can be the case with some erotica but do have some of the graphic language and minimal BDSM. The stories are well written with the required graphic language. The reader may like their erotica short and sharp and without the perquisite chemistry between their characters then they may read this book.
