HOT, HOT, HOT!!! That is the best word to describe this sizzling new book from Lilli Feisty. With her signature erotic touch, Ms. Feisty brings the story of Joy and Ash to life as their sexual encounters scorch the pages of this book.
Joy Montgomery has spent her entire life not feeling good enough. She isn’t sexy enough or pretty enough or brainy enough or organized enough—at least not for her wealthy grandmother and brothers. When her boss at the art gallery threatens to fire her unless she comes up with an amazing show, she turns to erotic photographer Ash Hunter. His art work causes her to melt and turns her on more than she thought possible. Then she meets the man himself and can’t keep her hands off him.
Ash Hunter’s erotic art work features bound women. He loves to tie them up and then take photographs. Ash recently decided that he had enough of art and is looking to get back into the security business. Then he meets Joy and can’t imagine anything hotter than tying her up and taking her picture-- if he can only convince her to let him do so.
To complicate matters, Ash values honesty above all else. Joy was so draw toward one of his amazing sculptures the first night they met that she “accidentally” stole it. Now she has to figure out how to confess without losing the budding relationship they have. Will he be able to forgive her? Will she ever work up the courage to tell him the truth?
Ms. Feisty’s characters of Joy and Ash are delightful to read about. The addition of the subplot romance between Erica and Blaine only adds to the enjoyment. These four individuals are trying to overcome their assumptions about themselves and each other in order to find love and happiness. The struggles they each have blend to create a positive, hopeful story.
The sexual scenes in this book are red hot. Bondage is a common theme. I appreciated the way in which Ms. Feisty combined the sex scenes into the romantic story. This story would be amazing without the descriptive detailed sex, but the intimate details of those encounters strengthens our understanding of what Joy and Ash are beginning to mean to each other. The sex scenes add something to the overall sense that these two people are irresistibly drawn to each other from the beginning and that there is something more powerful than reason at work in their relationship.
The addition of Joy’s theft adds some suspense to the tale as we wait to see how Ash will react when she tells him, how she will tell him and if their relationship can survive it. From the moment we know there is the possibility that things won’t work out, we await the final conclusion. This helped to keep me reading (not that I had difficulty since it was so enjoyable).
