Erotic Romance! Review for Trouble With Will
Author: Myla Jackson

Reviewer Comments: While on an archeological expedition in 1924, Will, and his friends enter the tomb of Vashti, daughter of the Devil King. Reaching out to grab the stone of Ahzi, Will is sucked into a bottle where he remains for 80 years.

Kate Douglas is trying to save her father’s life. He disappeared in Sand City while on a humanitarian mission to help the local Bedouins. Legend says the only way to make the invisible city appear is to use the Eye of the Serpent, a large and brilliant amber jewel. Tracking the stone to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Kate is dismayed to find a dusty old bottle in the box where the stone should be. Rubbing the bottle in frustration, out comes a gorgeous naked man the likes of which Kate has never seen before. Said naked man, according to legend, must grant her every wish, and what follows is a fast paced and funny romp through the Middle East on a quest not unlike Indiana Jones, The Mummy or Laura Croft.

The main characters are fascinating, wise-cracking, and memorable. The secondary characters enhance the story rather than detract from it. Will’s friend, Harry (Trouble With Harry) makes an appearance to help on the quest.

The wishes Kate makes don’t always work out the way she plans, so there are many “laugh out loud” moments; like when Will takes a trip to Hell! I couldn’t hold back the laughter!

Really steamy love scenes make this a standard Ellora’s Cave title. Though the vocabulary is not true to a character from 1924, it is easy to overlook this to enjoy a light and fast read. Fun!
